Super cuddly baby blankets by Ambajam!
We received Ambajam's baby blanket and mini-cuddle blanket and they knocked our socks off!
The company reps told us they were super-soft but there aren't even words to describe the degree of softness. The product description refers to them as "double-sided plush 'Cuddle-Up' fleece." We say it's like being wrapped in a cloud. It truly is the softest blanket that we've seen out there. The edges and two turtles in the bottom corner are stitched in an accent color and give the blanket the right finishing touch.
The fact that there's a baby blanket for the crib and a smaller mini-sized blanket - make it the perfect gift. The mini blanket is ideal for taking in the car, to daycare, etc. Ambajam blankets come in a variety of colors. We received Turquoise snow cone with orange cuddle-up. But there's also cotton candy pink with green, fresh kiwi and periwinkle, vanilla cream and green, vanilla cream and brown, tangerine orange with either pink or green.
When our teenager grabbed the baby blanket and wrapped herself up in it, we thought we should recommend they do 'grown up' sized blankets as well. Sure enough, they already have the "jumbo cuddle" for everyone else to enjoy. Now the whole family can be snuggly and warm. |

Just when I think, there can't be one more cute onesie out there, I stumble onto Ambajam. They create and carry some great onesies and tees with bright, appliqued animals. This outfit is so cute and colorful...I was so excited when I took it out of the package it went immediately in the washer so it could be worn! I love the cool pattern on the frog (and there are several different designs to choose from, as well as animals), and the pants are so soft-I want a pair! They're also cut a little big, so if you happen to be a cloth diapering family like us, they're perfect for "puffy" bottoms!

Curious & Cuddly
I'm not exactly sure what "Ambajam" means, but I know their adorable onesies, t-shirts and blankets are among the coziest we've come across in a while.
The 100% cotton designs stimulate your little one with their bright colors, interesting shapes and textures while appealing to your modern sense of style.
We love the swirly red elephant ringer onesie, long sleeve orange chocolate dot frog tee and pink ruffle pants (all so soft that you'll wish they made grown-up versions).
Plus, Ambajam's blankets are the perfect snuggle companion -- our favorite: the large, one-of-a-kind patchwork quilt.

Ambajam is who I am
How does Ambajam do it? Just when I think I am all superior with my animal-embroidered-on-a-blankie disdain, they manage to deliver a blanket set, adorned with turtles, that is cute without crossing into the dreaded territory of cute-sie. I'd even go so far as to say, adorable.
Forgive me if I sound like a terrible snob. I just have a thing about sickly sweet, sad little blue puppies and pink kitties. Not on my kids clothing and accessories! Unless they are genuine vintage/retro puppies and kitties. Then it's somehow ok. This is as hard to explain to my own mom, as why I had to have the jeans with the right kind of stitching in high school. But I know you readers, you get it!
So if you have a fellow fear of cloying critters, Ambajam just may help you get over it (and provide you with a perfect site to send to all those well meaning critter-loving moms and aunts). Check out the refreshing color palate and bold designs. Gender neutral turquoise and orange Cuddle-up blankets are my definite favorites. I just love the blanket stitching on the edge of these soft, and cozy fuzzy blankets. The thread color matches the embroidered design and just lends the set such a nice clean,simple and distinctively different look and feel. These are woobie-worthy blankets - the chosen few that are destined to become favorites. |
